Jacobite Rebellion

Unpainted plastic soldiers in 1/72 scale depicting the FitzJames Horse Regiment, which was part of the Irish Brigade, in service in France. The Irish brigade took part in both 1715 and 1745 (depicted by this kit) Jacobite uprisings, for what they was moved to Scotland. They took part in Falkirk and Culloden battles, where in difference to clans members, since they was part of the French Army, were allowed to formally surrender as a unit without reprisals. Most of the FitzJames regiment was intercepted in sea and never landed in Scotland, and those who did, did it without horses. From the only squadron landed, only half fought as mounted troops (with given horses).

Lifeguards were a mounted lifeguards units raised by prince Charles Edward Stuart very early in the campaign (1745) and eventually became one of the largest cavalry units. They had a formal uniform consists of blue coats with red facings, laced waistcoats and a tartan carbine belt.

Box contains 12 mounted figures in 12 different poses and horses come in 6 different poses.
