Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII tank destroyer Nashorn (formally Sd.Kfz. 164), a powerful tank destroyer fitted with the 8.8 cm Pak 43 anti-tank gun in an open lightly armored casemate over a Pz. III or Pz. IV chassis that proved to be letal for allied tanks on long range encounters and though developed as an interim solution was produced in almost 500 units from 1943. Initially known as Hornisse after production improvements during 1943 it was renamed Nashorn, though externally they was very difficult to difference.

Kit consists of 184 parts including link-and-length tracks type. It’s an example of the best Revell kits, with a good acceptation in the community.

The 2024 release include the same 3 markings as 2015 edition as detailed below.

This kit was released in the past with code number 03148 for two times, updated with new decals each time.

The 2015 Edition included the following markings:

  • 1./s. H. Pz. Jg. Abt. 525, December 1944, Alsace
  • 1./s. H. Pz. Jg. Abt. 525 March 1944, Monte Cassio, Italy
  • 3./s. H. Pz. Jg. Abt. 88, 1944, Ukraine

The original 2005 release included the following markings:

  • East front, 1943, named Puma, Jaguar, Panther, Lowe in markings without unit specification.
  • Seelower Hohen (Seelow Heights), 1945, without units specification.
