Description:

Fairey Seafox

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a British 30s and WWII floatplane reconnaissance biplane aircraft Fairey Seafox, produced in limited numbers for the Royal Navy was designed to be catapulted from light cruisers decks. They were retired before the end of the war in 1943.

An original Matchbox kit tooled in 1983 and released two more times in 1992 and 1996 (1997 as model set). The kit had two different box arts, the second one introduced in the 1996 release. Some sources also state that decal sheet changed in the 1996 release but we can’t confirm this.

The original release included a decal sheet with two markings for the Royal Navy Fleet Arm, dated 1939 and 1942.

As per 2022 remains as the only plastic injected kit in 1/72 scale of the Fairey Seafox.
