Description:

American Infantry 1941-1945

Unpainted and unassembled plastic soldiers in 1/72 scale depicting U.S. Infantry Soldiers during WWII. Despite the generic 1941-1945 title of the kit, figures looks like appropriated for European theater, Normandy invasion ahead.

Is the first time that Zvezda depicts one of the most popular topics in the plastic soldiers world, U.S. Infantry during WWII.

Box contains 5 figures in 4 different poses. They are multi-part figures, but no glue is required to assembly. The weapons are assorted but no one is carrying the M1903 Springfield or M1 Garand rifle, instead the figure which comes in x2 seems to carry a BAR (M1918 Browning Automatic Rifle), and while the weapon looks good, it seems to be a bit small. The other weapons are a Thompson submachine gun, a M3 submachine gun a finally a M1 Bazooka. It clearly is not a M1A1 bazooka or M1 M9, produced from 1943 onwards, as it has a forward hand grip.
