F8F-2 Bearcat

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. Grumman F8F Bearcat carrier based fighter aircraft of the very late WWII, lasting in service till 60s.

F-2 variant had a redesigned engine cowling, taller fin and rudder and was armed with four 20 mm cannons as well as fitted with a new more powerful engine. Developed in 1948, around 290 units were produced of this type.

Update of kits Hobby Boss – 87268 – F8F-1B Bearcat and Hobby Boss – 87267 – F8F-1 Bearcat with new parts and new decal sheet.

Kit consists of just 28 parts, includes a decal sheet with two markings. Wings and lower hull are moulded in a single piece, is an easy to assemble kit suitable for all level of modelers. Markings are dated 1949 and 1950.
