Bell AH-1J SeaCobra

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. Attack Helicopter Bell AH-1 Cobra developed from the well know Bell UH-1 Iroquois in a further develop Bell AH-1 SeaCobra/SuperCobra, introduced in the late 60s by request of the U.S. Marine corps, upgraded to twin engine and a more powerful three-barrel 20mm XM197. AH-1J is considered the initial variant of the SuperCobra variant.

 Iran purchased 202 examples of an improved AH-1J on 1971, some of them capable of fire TOW anti tank missiles.

An original Fujimi kit, released under Matchbox brand in 1993 (with upgraded parts). Same year the Fujimi kit was also released by Revell just with new decals. Strangely, the kit only had decal sheet with one marking, an Iranian marking dated 1974.
