Plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII ground attack and bomber aircraft Junkers Ju 87. D series was introduced after Battle of Britain, D-5 variant was very different to previous D models, with a longer wing, 20mm MG 151/20s replaced the 7.92mm wing guns for a ground attack role and aileron hinges were issued, giving the type higher diving speeds. D-8 were fitted with exhaust flame dampers and intended to conduct night operations. Both D-5 and D-8 were based on the D-3 airframes. D-7 variant had a similar set up but was based on D-1 airframes, for what the kit is not prepared.

Kit includes resin parts for both the specific parts of the D-5/N/D-8 variants and also to correct some small inaccuracy in the plastic parts.

Includes decal sheet with four German Luftwaffe markings (WWII). Also includes technical stencils.

The kit uses as base Academy kit, Academy Hobby Models – 12404 – JU87G-2 STUKA “KANONEN VOGEL”, with a new sprue by Special Hobby.
