Stridsvagn M/40K Swedish Light Tank

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Swedish mid 30s design, Landsverk L-60 tank.

M/40K variant, was the last upgraded version for the Swedish army. K letter stands for Karlstads Mekaniska Verkstad, a contract from Landsverk who built this variant, longer, heavier and with thicker armor in some places. It still was armed with a Bofors 37mm gun as main armament.

Around of 80 tanks of this type were built, and some of them were sold to Dominican Republic where they saw action during the Dominican Civil War.

Kit includes same decal sheet than the other Stridsvagn released by IBG, with generic Swedish numerals and a Dominican marking and share some parts with previous models, but this one had the most of the parts new.
