Description:

U.S. Machine Gunners
(D-Day)

Unpainted and unassembled plastic toy soldier in 1/72 scale of U.S. WWII Infantry machine guns teams. Two kind of machine guns are provided, one of them looks like the M1919 Browning machine gun, a .30cal medium machine gun produced since 1919 and the other is the M1917 Browning machine gun, probably M1917A1 variant, considered a heavy machine gun firing a 7,62mm cartridge. They both where largely used during WWII.

Box contains 2 firing teams of two men, one of each kind of machine guns, x 4 (8 machine guns, with 16 crew figures in 4 poses) plus another 16 figures in 4 different poses, 3 of the poses seems to be carrying a M1919 dismounted, tripod, barrel and the other figure carry on ammunition. The four pose carry an unidentified weapon for us, as don’t resembles BAR (M1918 Browning Automatic Rifle) or M1941 Johnson machine gun. The four pose is carrying a M1919A6, a modified version of the M1919, fired from a bipod with a wooden buttstock, handle, pistol grip and the bipod directly mounted to the body of the weapon.
