Description:

Sd.Kfz.184 Panzerjäger “Elefant”

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII anti-tank (Panzerjäger) Sd.Kfz.184 Elefant, buld over the Tiger I chassis and hulls produced by Porsche before Henschell won the Tiger I contract. Initially known as Ferdinand they were renamed to Elefant n 1944 after several upgrades learned after Kursk battle where the type had its fire baptism.

Visually the main modifications were, the addition of a ball-mounted MG 34 in the hull front, a new commander’s cupola for improved vision, re-designed armored engine grates and the application of Zimmerit anti-magnetic mine paste. The kit reflects all these changes.

Tracks are link and length type, decal sheet includes 3 markings.
