Description:
Aveling And Porter Steam Road Roller
Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Steam Road Roller (machinery used for leveling surfaces, as roads) produced by Aveling And Porter, a british company founded in 1862.
We are not expertise, even close to, but the model depicted by Keil Kraft is similar to models produced by the company around 1910-1915, as for example those called “Betsy” and other models. In the early 20th century Aveling And Porter had become the largest world manufacturer of Steamrollers (steam roller or road roller), a concept that it’s considered an invention of Thomas Aveling in 1867.
