Hurricane Mk II A/B/C “Dieppe”
Deluxe Set

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a British WWII Hawker Hurricane single seat fighter aircraft, introduced in 1937 and produced till 1944 in over 14000 units. They also were widely used as fighter-bombers.

Arma Hobby repacks and extend their acclaimed 2019 Hurricane Mk II set with a double deluxe set improved with 3D printed parts and focused in the Dieppe Raid or Operation Jubilee, the disastrous Allied amphibious attack in the occupied French port of Dieppe in 1942.

RAF lost over 100 aircraft in the few hours that the assault lasted. Hurricanes used where mainly used as close support strike bombers, mainly cannon armed IIC or bomb carriers for those machine guns armed (mostly IIB but not only). Twenty Hurricanes were shot down that day.

This kit adds new 3D printed parts for 500lb bombs. The new 3D printed parts also includes some other details such exhausts or cannons.

Kit also includes paint mask, PE detail parts (x 2) and two sets of plastic sprues of their Hurricane Mk II A/B/C kit. Decal sheet, devoted to the Dieppe Raid, includes 8 different markings.

  • Hurribomber Mk.IIb BP672/XP-P. No. 174 Squadron RAF. Ford airfield. Aeroplane took part in three missions during operation “Jubilee”.
    Pilots: F/Sgt W.H. Wetere (RNZAF) i P/O G.I. Mallet.
  • Hurricane Mk.IIa Z2643/LK-J. No. 87 Squadron RAF. Tangmere airfield. Aeroplane took part in two missions during operation “Jubilee”. Pilot: P/O Andrzej Malarowski (Polish Air Forces).
  • Hurricane Mk.IIc BD833/LK-Q. No. 87 Squadron RAF. Tangmere airfield. Aeroplane took part in three missions during operation “Jubilee”. Pilots: P/O G.W. Mosley i P/O D.G. Metzler.
  • Hurricane Mk.IIc BE500/LK-A. No. 87 Squadron RAF. Tangmere airfield. Aeroplane took part in three missions during operation “Jubilee”. Pilots S/Ldr D.G.. Smallwood i F/L A.H. Thom.
  • Hurricane Mk.IIc Z3081/FT-V „Baron Dhanis”. 43 Squadron RAF. Tangmere airfield. Aeroplane took part in three missions during operation “Jubilee”. Pilot S/Ldr D. A.R.G. Le Roy du Viver (Belgium).
  • Hurricane Mk.IIb (built by CC&F as Mk.X) AM315/FT-X „Tabora”. No. 43 Squadron RAF. Tangmere airfield. Aeroplane took part in four missions during operation “Jubilee”. Pilots: F/Sgt J.D. Lewis, P/O R. Turkington, Sgt M. Smith, Sgt W. Webster (RNZAF).
  • Hurricane Mk.IIb Z2915/FT-P “Ramaekers”. No. 43 Squadron RAF. Tangmere airfield. lane took part in three missions during operation “Jubilee”. Pilots Sgt G.M. Ball (RAAF), Sgt C.Figgis, P/O J.Torrance.
