BAe Jaguar T.Mk2

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a SEPECAT Jaguar ground attack aircraft, an Anglo-French develop introduced in the early 70s, initially planned as a trainer aircraft, quickly evolved to the attack role. Jaguar B/Jaguar T2, two-seat training version for the Royal Air Force.

In 1986 Matchbox updated their Jaguar kit (Matchbox – PK-102 – BAC Jaguar GR.1 (B.A.C. ‘S’ Jaguar)) to the two seat trainer variant T.MK2, and as in other occasion when the brand did this update, the pilot figure was removed to introduce the second seat. Obviously, also main fuselage parts were updated an canopy, as well as all the bombs payload was removed and replaced by external droppable fuel tanks.

The kit also introduced new decal sheets, with two markings, one for Sultan of Oman’s Air Force and one flown by Empire Test Pilots School (ETPS).
