Description:

A-4M Skyhawk

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. Douglas A-4 Skyhawk, a carrier capable light attack aircraft introduced in mid 50s which through updates remained in service till late 90s or 2015 in the case of the Israeli Air Forces. The M variant, was an specific develop for the U.S. Marine Corps, while N variant was a designation given to modified M variant aircrafts exported to Israel.

An original Matchbox kit tooled in 1976, and released four more times in 1978, 1980, 1982 and 1983. Initially it was named A-4M/N Skyhawk but the name was changed to just A-4M Skyhawk in the 1978 release. Three different box arts were used for the kit, one in 1976 and 1978, one for 1980 release and the last one in 1982 and 1983.

Kit also changed decals in 1978, originally in 1976 it included two markings, U.S. Marine Corps and Israeli Air Force, in 1978 the decal sheet was changed to include just two U.S. Marine Corps markings till the last release in 1983.
