While some of the past announced models by Model Collect still haven’t reach stores, a new wave of “big” weapons have been announced by the Chinese brand, who seems to pick up the baton from S-Model to be the most prolific brand. The new announced models suppose a big boost to Russian Missile Systems, and the whole list works as follows:
- UA72045 – S-300 (SA-10 Grumble) Missile launcher, 5P85S/SD
- UA72046 – SSC-3/4K51 Rubezh Costal Defence System 3P51M Missile Launcher
- UA72047 – BM-30 Smerch (9K58) multiple rocket launcher
- UA72048 – Russian MAZ-7410 with MAZ-796 semi-trailer
- UA72049 – MAZ-74106 air search radar 64N6 BIG BIRD for S-300
1/72 scale Missile launchers seems to be a hot topic.
Military wheels come back with a nice model, GAZ-M20 “Pobeda” cabriolet, a topic already visited by the brand, but now in the cabriolet version.
Aoshima continues confined to the Japanese Ground Defence Forces, releasing a JGSDF TYPE73 HEAVY TANK TRANSPORTER, already seen in the special edition of this model with a Type74 Tank.
S-Model, who has started the year quite quietly, has released a BMD-2 Airborne Infantry Fighting Vehicle.
Our last update to report it’s a different genre ones, Bandai has released a new 1/72 scale Star Wars kit, this time a classic TIE Fighter. The Japanese brand has released some more awesome Star Wars models, but unfortunately they aren’t 1/72 scale.
