Description:

Napoleonic French Cavalry Disaster
In Battle and After Battle

Unpainted plastic soldiers in 1/72 scale depicting assorted French cavalry troops during the Napoleonic wars.

Box contains 12 different figures, ten of them are *mounted and two foot figures. Box also include ten horses in five different poses. Though ten of the figures depict Napoleonic French cavalry, in a mix of the many different types of cavalry used at the time in the French army, including Carabiners, Cuirassiers, Dragoons and Lancers, any of them is really mounting the horse. The poses depict falling riders, wounded, killed or a very interesting figure who is shooting to a wounded horse, thought the mix fail a bit as long as the figure is a Lancer but shooting a Cuirassier horse. The box includes also two British figures, Scot infantry, taking captives.

The figures are clearly intended for the Waterloo 1815 battle disaster but can be used in other scenarios too. Sculpture is very good as usual in the brand and the quality of the mould and casting is very good too even if uses a traditional moulding and poses are very dramatic and dynamic.

This box is an excellent addition for any fan of the Napoleonic period in 1/72 scale.

Back box with sample painted figures.
