Noorduyn Norseman

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of Noorduyn Norseman utility aircraft, introduced in mid-late 30s which remained in production for over 25 years, reaching more than 900 units produced, which for an specialized aircraft as it is, is a quite high number. Several aircraft remain registered as per 2022 and at the time was operated in over 60 countries and both arctic or antarctic bases. It was designed to operate from unimproved surfaces and skis, floats or wheels undercarriages were commonly used.

Kit includes a decal sheet with two markings, one Canadian civilian marking for Northway Aviation (dated 1974) and one USAAF marking during WWII dated 1944. Kit included optional parts for wheels, floats or skis, more options than markings.

As per 2022 the kit remain as the only ever injected plastic kit of a Noorduyn Norseman in 1/72 scale but for this year Dora Wings announced their was working in this model.
