Vickers E

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a British Vickers E tank (Vickers 6-ton tank or Vickers Mark E) in Polish Service, Type B with a single two-man turret mounting a single machine gun and a short-barreled 47 mm OQF 3-pdr gun.

Poland acquired 50 of these tanks, and started its own modifications and licensed production resulting in the Polish 7TP tank.

The Vickers E was also the base for the develop of the Soviet T-26 which probably is the most successful tank of the 30s. After the Spanish Civil War experience, the Italian, who fought the Spanish Republican T-26s, used the design as base for the Italian M11/39 and M13/40.

Despite the British Army itself did not adopted the Vickers E in service, through the line of develop of the Soviet T-26 which influenced because the learnings all the later Soviet develops, can be considered the most relevant interwars tank design.

Kit is of easy build type, with tracks moulded into a single piece with wheels and suspension. Total number of parts is around 19.
