Description:

Korean Light Cavalry 16-17 century

Unpainted plastic soldiers depicting Korean mounted warriors during 16th and 17th, a time in which the Korean peninsula had to face a Japanese invasion in the south as well as to fight Manchus from the north.

Box contains 12 Mounted figures in 6 different poses. Horses also come in 6 different poses. The bow and archer poses are dominant in this set, as well as no armour on men or horses all of which is fine for a light cavalry set. All the poses wear the characteristic stiffened felt hat.

Sadly, in all the Korean cavalry sets, both horses and mould in general, worsen a pretty good job done in the figures sculpture.

*As happens in the Chinese cavalry trilogy which uses the same horses, horses depicted in the back box doesn’t match the box content. Two sets of six different horses exist, but back boxes depict three and three of each set. Most of the examples seen, included the same six horses in this Light cavalry, thee Heavy cavalry set 2 and the Korean guerrillas cavalry, while Heavy cavalry set 1 has the other six, and none matches their back box.
