In a probe of resilience, courage and devotion to their work, the Ukrainian brands keeps releasing models as Mikro-Mir – 72024 – Mitsubishi J4M “Senden” with Sakae thermojet engine, and in the same example, our friends from Hobby.dn.ua allow you to order. We can only wish them all the best.

Hasegawa updates their list of coming models, as well as updates some of the previously announced kits. Hasegawa – 02400 – SU-33 FLANKER D MAJ. GEN. APAKIDZE gets its new box cover image and six new models are added to the Japanese brand pipeline. The new kits announced are Hasegawa – 02405 – PHANTOM II 303rd DRAGON Squadron 10th Anniversary, Hasegawa – 02407 – MITSUBISHI G3M2/G3M3 TYPE 96 LAND ATTACK AIRCRAFT TYPE 22/23 MIHORO AIR CORPS, Hasegawa – 02404 – F/A-18F Super Hornet “Top Gun”, Hasegawa – 02406 – F-14D Tomcat “VF-213 Blacklions Last Cruise” and Hasegawa – 02408 – F-15EX Eagle II.


To finish with the impressive output this month by KP, we have a trio of Miles Messengers, Kovozávody Prostějov (KP) – KPM0319 – Miles Messenger Mk.I “RAF”, Kovozávody Prostějov (KP) – KPM0318 – Miles Messenger Mk.I “Monty’s Planes” and Kovozávody Prostějov (KP) – KPM0317 – Miles M.38 Messenger “In Civil Services”.

Also added sprue images to the new tooled Spitfire PR Mk X – XI by KP, in all the released kits like Kovozávody Prostějov (KP) – KPM0292 – Spitfire PR. Mk. XI “RAF”

Working also in the extreme conditions of the Ukrainian war, AMP releases a new AMP – 72017 – Horten H IX V1 project early.


The long ago announced Wolfpack Design – WP17209 – Me163B/S ‘Komet’ (Premium Edition Kit) is coming soon. It will contains 2 full kits inside.


Clear Prop Models is another Ukrainian brand who keeps working despite the situation in Ukraine and puts 3 new releases for this month. They all are variants of previous kits, with new parts and decals. The three models are Clear Prop – CP72012 – Ki-51 Sonia Reconnaissance (Advanced Kit), Clear Prop – CP72021 – H-75O Hawk (Starter Kit) and Clear Prop – CP72022 – H-75N Hawk (Starter Kit).


This month, Special Hobby, only included one new release in the 1/72 scale, another Gloster Meteor which comes of the long way of the MPM moulds, several times released by Special Hobby. The new kit focuses in middle east operators, Special Hobby – 72463 – Gloster Meteor Mk.8/9 “Middle East Meteors”.

Sword will be releasing a new kit by the end of the month, to be exact, two kits based in the same new moulds. Sword – 72142 – T-39A Sabreliner and Sword – 72143 – T-39D Sabreliner. The brand is also re-releasing this month Sword – 72054 – F-94B Starfire and Sword – 72104 – Fiat G.55 Centauro (2 in 1) which also gets a new box art cover.

Italeri introduces again this month their V-22 Osprey kit, in the shape of Italeri – 1463 – V-22A Osprey, including a new decal sheet with 3 U.S. Marine Corps markings. These moulds was not released by Italeri since 2012, and same moulds were reissued by Revell in 2015.

PM Model is about to do a huge re-release which covers most of their current catalogue, just to cite some of the kits coming back, PM Model – 217 – Messerschmitt Me P.1111 (originally tooled by PM), PM Model – 215 – DFS-194 (also tooled by the Turkish brand), PM Model – 216 – Supermarine Spitfire VB floatplane (also originally tooled by PM), PM Model – 214 – Hawker Sea Fury T-61 (originally a Pioneer 2 kit, also released by Matchbox in the 90s, other Sea Fury variants by PM are being re-released) or PM Model – 207 – Dassault Mirage III (another Pioneer 2 kit of the 80s), but much more. Together with these re-release, they will be releasing soon a new F-16c kit, and soon we’ll add here.


Fly Model will release shortly another Bristol 170, Fly – 72045 – BRISTOL 170 MK.31.

AMP continues working from Ukraine, and a new AMP – 72018 – English Electric CANBERRA B.2 is emerging these days.


Academy will release shortly Academy – 12575 – USMC CH-53D “Operation Frequent Wind”, a repack of the Fujimi kit.


Mistercraft is releasing this month (or announcing) 4 new kits, Mistercraft – D-110 – MiG-29 (9-13) “Ghost of Kyiv” using Nakotne moulds as the Zvezda kits, Mistercraft – E-12 – Su-22M4R “77 JBG”, originally Pantera moulds, Mistercraft – E-60 – Me-262-1a “Schwalbe”, Heller moulds from the 70s, and Mistercraft – E-65 – XFY-1 “Pogo”, KP (Kovozávody Prostějov) moulds.


Wolfpack Design puts another model in the pipeline, expected for May 2022, Wolfpack Design – WP17210 – F-22A Raptor “Edwards AFB” again based on Academy kit, but including also 3D printed parts.


RS-Models announced 3 more novelties, all of them are based in already released kits, such are the RS Models – 94008 – Heinkel 112 V11 with DB 601 A Engine and RS Models – 94007 – Heinkel 112 V10 with DB 601 A Engine, together with a third release of the recent Arado Ar 199, RS Models – 94007 – Heinkel 112 V10 with DB 601 A Engine.

In May, Arma Hobby will be releasing a third issue of their North American P-51 kit, time for a photo-reconnaissance variant Arma Hobby – 70040 – F-6C Mustang Expert Set, completed with paint mask and PE details.

Recovered today a MisterCraft Pe-2, MisterCraft – E-24 – Pe-2 “Peshka”, has not been launch much ago but we are unsure about exactly when. The Pole brand is difficult to trace.

Kora Models is about to release a 4th Kawanishi Baika related model, Kora – KPK72149 – Kawanishi Baika I-K Trainer / Kawanishi Baika Two Seat Training Glider.


Fine Molds will release during the next month Fine Molds – FP48 – JAPAN AIR SELF-DEFENSE FORCE F-2A FIGHTER, and later inJuly/August the two seat trainer variant, Fine Molds – FP49 – JASDF F-2B FIGHTER. In addition, from July to September the Japanese brand will release two limited editions of previous kits, devoted to the Iranian Air Force, Fine Molds – 72847 – IRAN AIR FORCE F-4D FIGHTER (LIMITED EDITION) (Expected for July/August) and Fine Molds – 72936 – IRAN AIR FORCE F-14A TOMCAT (LIMITED EDITION) (Expected for August/September).

LF Models has partially re-tooled their Fokker C.V kits and offers two new Fokker C.VE releases, LF Models – PE7257 – Fokker C.VE M/33 (Denmark) and LF Models – PE7258 – Fokker C.VE M/33 (Luftwaffe, Finland), both related between them, since the German Fokker C.Vs were previously Danish. Theoretically they have been already released.

1/72 Vehicles


After some years without new kits, Galaxy Hobby backs with a (no) new kit, one more version of their (good by other side) Oshkosh M-ATV moulds, Galaxy Hobby – GH72A05 – M1240A1 M-ATV w/Michelin XZL 16.00 XR20 Wheel Set, including new wheels and some extras for the initial release.


Trumpeter announced a new kit, Trumpeter – 07155 – Soviet Object 268, a Soviet mid 50s project which never entered production, for a tank destroyer based on T-10 tank, kind of WWII developments.


Adding renders for IBG – 72096 – Italian Autocannone 3Ro with 90/53 90mm Anti Air Gun, coming late this month, with all the batch announced by IBG. So we’ll we adding more details in the next days as soon as brand shares them.

Added decal sheet image for ACE – 72568 – Zugkraftwagen 5t SdKfz.6/1 Artillery, looks like ACE is still being able to work from Ukraine and aiming to launch a new kit by the end of the month.

ModelCollect puts again in the pipeline ModelCollect – UA72366 (Old UA73308) – German 50mm FLAK 41, updating code number and box art. The previous code never was released.

Looks like something changed Revell steps and this month the German brand bring back some of the past year releases such Revell – 03298 – Sd.Kfz. 234/2 Puma (First Diorama Set), Revell – 03299 – Sherman Firefly (First Diorama Set) 1/76 scale. or Revell – 03290 – Sherman M4A1. Revell – 03841 – F-15E Strike Eagle is finally full available and soon will be released as model set. There are a couple more of new things for next month or two months, but nothing really new, the Patrol Torpedo Boat will be back soon as well as an special making for the Eurofighter Typhoon.


First to Fight will release next month First to Fight – 090 – Tatra OA vz. 30, being the first time the vz. 30 caught attention in 1/72 scale and injected plastic.

1/72 Sci-Fi & Anime


Pending from yesterday Hasegawa update, the Japanese brand has a new announce related to Macross Universe, based in their recently released Hasegawa – 30 – VF-1J Armored Battroid, upgraded with new parts and decals, Hasegawa will be releasing Hasegawa – 65877 – VF-1A ARMORED VALKYRIE BULLSEYE OPERATION PART 1 in late June early July.
