BRAND NEW 1:72 Plastic Kit, Panzerkampfwagen VII Löwe (Armory)

Brand new kit of known Ukrainian company “Armory”. The company is known as a manufacturer of photo-etched and resin kits. This is their first all-plastic kit.

I will not say much about this kit. Photos say more.

In short:
Quality casting unfortunately worse than what I expected. From other Ukrainian producers I could compare with a very good kits of  “ACE”. Not up to the quality of the models of “Roden.” Plastic has many fin. Looks very messy. Hatches are cast together with the hull and turret. Tracks cast from vinyl poor quality and have burrs.

In the end, I would say that the price set too high but since it’s new and there is no alternative, it is “MUST HAVE”.

On the reverse side of the box, you can see the other new items that will soon come out into the light.

  2. I have built this kit and i added some scratchbuilt parts to make it look good. The fit of parts in this kit are poor and the amount of work involved is quite intense. The upper hull didn’t fit the lower hull at all so a lot of sanding is required, the track guards are way to thick so that the tracks wouldn’t fit in between. The tracks have know way of fixing together so you have to just butt them up to each other and just hope that the glue holds which it did fortunately. The turret has no way of locking into the hull at all so that when you fit it with metal barrel it just falls out,so i had to create my own. There is no mesh for the grilles so you have to source your own. I also replaced all the kit wheels with Revell King Tiger ones as they are better. Overall a poorly designed and manufactured kit but with a lot of work it makes up into a reasonably good kit. Could do much better Amoury
