The Sd.Kfz. 182, commonly known as the King Tiger with Porsche Turret, was a German heavy tank deployed during the later stages of World War II. Also referred to as the Tiger II or Königstiger.

Equipped with a powerful 8.8 cm KwK 43 L/71 gun, the King Tiger had exceptional penetrating capabilities, able to handle enemy tanks at considerable ranges. The tank’s frontal armor was exceptionally thick, providing enhanced protection against enemy fire.

Despite its impressive capabilities, the King Tiger faced challenges related to its weight and mechanical reliability. Its operational use was often limited by its significant fuel consumption and the challenging logistics of transporting such heavy tanks. Nevertheless, when deployed effectively, the King Tiger was a formidable force on the battlefield, earning a reputation for its firepower and armored protection.

Kit originally tooled in 2004, including single piece tracks and decal sheet with two markings.
