Unpainted plastic soldiers in 1/72 scale depicting British WWI artillery and some infantry soldiers with with 18 pdr guns.

This box contains 24 figures in 6 poses and 2 guns.

The short number of poses means you get two crew men per gun and one officer per gun. The other 3 poses are common infantry troops in where you find two common riflemen (the poses can be found also in Emhar – 7201 – British WW1 Infantry with Tank Crew) and the third men is firing a Vickers machine gun which is a nice addition but sadly lacks of a loader to complete the team.

The main attraction of the set is the gun itself, though simplified, it builts into a nice model with just 7 parts per gun and you get two in the box. The Ordnance QF 18-pounder was a 84mm caliber (higher caliber than German or French counterparts) field gun, the main British field gun deployed during the WWI, produced in large quantities and widely used by many other armies during and after the WWI.
