Bristol Beaufort Mk.1
New Tool 2020

Unassembled scale model kit in 1/72 scale of a Bristol Beaufort Mk.1 British World War II torpedo bomber aircraft, a type introduced during 1940 and remaining in active service till 1942, except by the Australian Air Force who kept them in service till the end of the war. After active service British royal Air Force used them as trainers till retirement in 1944. Although designed as torpedo bomber it was also commonly used as a conventional medium day bomber.

Kit consists of about 159 parts and decal sheet.

Decal sheet allows two markings:
Scheme A – Bristol Beaufort Mk.I, Aircraft flown by Flying Officer Kenneth Campbell VC (pilot), actions against the German battleship Gneisenau, Royal Air Force No.22 Squadron, St Eval, Cornwall, April 6th 1941

Scheme B – Bristol Beaufort Mk.I, Aircraft flown by Sgt. John Bell Rutherford (pilot), actions against the German cruiser Admiral Hipper, Royal Air Force No.217 Squadron, St Eval, Cornwall, February 1st 1941
