The Academy and Wave KG-022 Assault Galient kit is a recent collaboration that revisits the classic mecha from Panzer World Galient, specifically the heavy armored version that appears in Episode 10 of the anime. This 1/72 scale kit, standing about 19 cm tall when assembled, offers a faithful representation of the “Heavy Armor Kai” variant, including its reinforced flight cannon, heavy armored cannon, and shield. Is entirely snap-fit, requiring no glue, and includes parts for both Flight Armor and Self-Propelled modes.

This kit reflects Wave’s attention to fine surface detail and proportions, clean multicolor molding, making for a visually impressive build even unpainted. The dual-mode display options give it a strong presence on the shelf and echo the transformation seen on screen.
