Has been a long since the last time that Hobby 2000 repacked some 1/72 scale kit, this time the brand uses Fujimi kits to release Hobby 2000 – H2K72082 – F-4K Phantom FG.1 Late vol.2 and Hobby 2000 – H2K72081 – F-4K Phantom FG.1 Late vol.1.
Kovozávody Prostějov (KP) has a new batch of releases. We firstly added Kovozávody Prostějov (KP) – KPH7211 – Fiat G.50bis “Freccia” Italian services and Kovozávody Prostějov (KP) – KPH7212 – Fiat G.50bis “Freccia” Special markings, both using FLY models parts updated with 3D printed parts and new decal sheets. At the time of write this Kovozávody Prostějov (KP) online store has some issue and is not possible order from there, hope the brand can fix these issues soon.

Has been a while since we recovered the last ESCI aircraft kit, but today after some days working on it we recovered the ESCI – McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II series, which included 6 original ESCI releases, two more under the ESCI/Ertl times and two more by AMT/Ertl. Later the kit has been issued also under Italeri brand. The ESCI – McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II is one of those vintage kits that still worth it to build if you find it cheap or it’s hidden in your stash.
Finish the legacy ESCI aircraft kits listing is taking long, but we are now few kits away of achieve it. It’s one of the objectives for this year.
Italeri is reissuing this month Italeri – 1488 – DO 217 K-1/K-2 with FRITZ X, see the product page which our comments for this old kit dated from 1977 (K-1 variant) and updated in 1986 (K-2 variant). In our opinion is an interesting subject, but sadly you mostly are getting a 1977 kit again.
Fine Molds has added two releases commemorating the JASF 70th anniversary, the releases just adds new decals to their existing range. The kit are Fine Molds – FK04 – JASDF F-15J Air Development and Test Wing “JASDF 70th Anniversary” and Fine Molds – FK03 – JASDF F-2A Fighter 3rd Squadron “JASDF 70th Anniversary”. By the nature of the topics these are kits aimed for Japanese internal market.

Valom has released another variant (just new decals) of the Fokker F.VII, Valom – 72171 – Fokker F.VIIb/3m (Air France).

A couple of forthcoming Hasegawa kits has been added today, Hasegawa – 02496 – Kawanishi E7K1 Type 94 Model 1 Reconnaissance Seaplane “Ashigara” w/Catapult and Hasegawa – 02498 – Mitsubishi Ki67 Type 4 Heavy Bomber Hiryu (Peggy) “74th Flight Regiment”, both adding new decal sheets to the existing kits.
A&A Models is about to release two excellent and beautiful aircrafts, both based on the Douglas DC-3, A&A Models – 7247 – Basler BT-67 Polar and the unique AA Models – 7246 – Douglas DC-3 Conroy Thri-Turbo-Three.

Special Hobby brings three new releases including a new tool for the de Havilland Mosquito with two initial releases, Special Hobby – SH72508 – DH.98 Mosquito NF Mk.XXX “Night Predator” and Special Hobby – SH72452 – DH. Mosquito PR Mk.XVI “Long-Range Reconnaissance”. The third release of this month is Special Hobby – SH72527 – Gloster Meteor F Mk.III “WWII Jet Fighter”. The de Havilland Mosquito already had interesting kits around, like the Airfix version, but this Special Hobby release brings more quality than any other kit previously available for the de Havilland Mosquito.

ACE is about to release ACE – 72600 – US G7106 1,5t 4×4 Cargo/Dump truck a new tool that opens the way for more Chevrolet G506 series kits in the future. The Ukrainian brand also announced that ACE – 72580 – G917T 3t German Cargo truck (m.1939) is not Out of Production so hurry up if want one before they start to be scarce.

Orion has released three new sets and while they all are interesting and well executed sets one of them caught all our love, we speak about Orion – 72073 – Spanish Republicans Pilots and the other sets are Orion – 72071 – Finnish Tank Crew WW2 and Orion – 72072 – USMC In Vietnam (Late War).
