Aliens Drop-ship

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of an Sci-Fi item inspired in the popular film Aliens (1986) the sequel of the Alien (1977) film. The kit depicts a Colonial Marines Drop-ship aircraft as seen in the film.

While some markers do diecast collectables in 1/72 for the subject, this is the only kit we know which was made of injected plastic. Also there are some resin maker, but it’s out of our scope.

Originally tooled in 1989 and reissued by Tsukuda Hobby in 1997. At least two different box covers has been used for this kit by Halcyon.

Kit consists of around 100 plastic parts which for the size of the aircraft is not a big amount and kit must be suitable for all kind of modelers, include decal sheet with the two numerals seen in the film, 01 and 02.
