Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a de Havilland DH.88 Comet, a British two-seat, twin-engined aircraft specifically build for the MacRobertson Trophy Air Race in 1934. 5 examples were build.

Variant of kit Clear Prop Models – 72019 – DH.88 Comet with a new decal sheet and paint schema. Kit consists of 78 plastic parts plus 27 PE (photo-etched) parts. Include one single marking for the MacRobertson Trophy Air Race, (also known as the London to Melbourne Air Race), a race celebrated in October 1934 as part of the Melbourne Centenary celebrations. Three de Havilland DH.88 Comet participated in the race and eventually one won the race (Clear Prop Models – 72019 – DH.88 Comet), but the marking included in this release finished in 4th position, piloted by O. Cathcart Jones and
K.F. Waller, wearing the number 19 and code G-ACSR.
