Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Grumman HU-16 Albatross air-sea rescue flying boat aircraft.

Variant G-111 is a civilian airliner designation for aircraft converted from the original military ones, similar to the diver types delivered to USAF, JASDF or German air forces. These aircrafts has seen limited operation.

Reissue of the quite popular SOVA-M Albatross kit, in particular of the initial SA-16A kit (SOVA-M – 72024 – SA-16A “Albatross” (flying boat)) including a new decal sheet with one single marking for aircraft registration number N121FB when privately owned by Paul Naude, a profesional surfer and surfer entrepreneur and showing the company Billabong markings from what Paul has been head for many years. The marking for the aircraft is dated around 2007, in 2012 the aircraft were re-sold. Kit includes a small sheet of PE (photo-etched) parts and paint mask.
