Waterloo 1815 – AP007 – WWII Italian Infantry

Unpainted plastic soldiers in 1/72 scale depicting Italian infantry during WWII.

When this set was released for first time it contained a copy of Airfix Italian WWII infantry, a figure set tooled in 1980 and consisting of 48 figures in 7 different poses.

Later in 2017 the set was released again (limited release), keeping box art and code number, but changing its content to one sprue from Waterloo 1815 – 034 – World War II Italian Infantry Support Group and two figures of each of the poses in Waterloo 1815 – AP040 – ITALIAN INFANTRY WWII in campaign dress.

The second edition of the set is bit more valuable than the Airfix figures, which still can be found in original Airfix boxes. Both kits are very difficult to find nowadays but the common case is the initial release with the Airfix figures. In case of doubt you should ask seller to be sure of what are you buying.
