Box contains 14 figures in 10 different poses and 6 horses in 3 different poses. There are 2 guns and one limber. 9 Figures in 5 poses are crew for the guns, 2 figures are seat on the limber and three mounted figures riding limber horses.

This is classic Airfix set and indeed a very good one, setting and standard level for horse artillery sets sadly not followed by all manufacturers in the following decades. Introduced in 1968 the kit featured a very nice full limber with six horses, the two guns and crews enough to depict both guns firing with a crew of 5 men each, which is quite generous in the hobby of 1/72 scale plastic figures or you can depict one towed with crew enough in the horses and limber. Of course, the gun model, is simplified, and soft plastic never have been the best to depict such weapons, but it’s still decent enough and for 1968 it was just a blow your mind. The time is not always good with the work done, and though this figures are still good and no other manufacturer equaled this topic depiction, figures a bit small for later standards in the 1/72 scale (note that Airfix released them as 1/76 or British HO-OO, which is correct for their size). The set doesn’t bright by historical accuracy but that wasn’t a thing in 1968’s plastic soldiers and in our opinion remains as a good set, worth it to depict and stand alone small vignette with little additions, or as parts of a wargames British WWI army.
