In 1970 Airfix tooled the two sets devoted to the American War of Independence, maybe the line was not so successful as others, since Airfix never extended the two infantry sets with artillery, for example.

The kind of sculpture reminds pretty much to both the French and British Napoleonic infantry sets, which is not our favorite in the Airfix range by far.

The box included 38 foot figures and 2 equal mounted figures, in a total of nine different poses and one horse pose.

1996 was the last year the set appeared in an Airfix catalogue.
