Unpainted plastic soldiers in 1/72 scale depicting Russian Grenadiers during the Crimean War.

Box contains 42 figures in 42 different poses, as usual a very generous offer by Strelets.

While figures are mostly correct for the topic they depict, sadly in this case proportions and poses are not good in our opinion, far beyond other makers and far from other Strelets sets of the time which is sad as this is the only depiction of the Russian Grenadiers for the period in 1/72 scale.

Despite the title of Grenadiers the only distinction versus the line infantry is very little, and main difference is that here the greatcoat/overcoat is not used as was in the line infantry set (Strelets – 025 – Crimean War Russian Line Infantry) but certainly both sets are mixable without problems for most of the relevant events in the Crimean War.
