Hasegawa – 31130 (MT30) – World War II German Infantry Attack Group

Hasegawa never fully entered into the 1/72 plastic figures market, they did few releases and always using hard plastic similar to the one they use in their models. Their complement figure sets for aircrafts models are very notable and useful even decades later, but the two releases they did for the WWII are less impressive though correct.

This box contains 24 hard plastic figures in 10 different poses. Although some of them require assembly, poses variation is very limited, as figures and parts were not engineered to be so. There is also a small number of accessories such fallen trees (x4) which are not bad tooled and can be used in some diorama. The poses themselves are quite common and they are correctly dressed for the early WWII, though in the weapons selection, there is one in particular that you will ask for, a Panzerschreck, without shield, an early model that anyway can’t be dated before 1943, and the figures using it, a full team with loader and ammunition box, are wearing mask gas, a feature used before the shield was added, to deal with flames and smoke produced after fire a Panzerschreck.

Figures detail is ok, though some little flash is usually present around mold line, very common on hard plastic sets.
