Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a British WWII field howitzer 25 Pdr. gun (Ordnance QF 25-pounder), the main British field gun during all the conflict.

Tooled in 1976 as the ESCI – 8321 – 8042 – Morris “Quad” (British Quad Gun Tractor) this kit is a good example of the best ESCI, a well detailed kit and usable figures even 40 years after.

The kit provides two different muzzles, one transform the gun in late (1944) variant and it’s the only part that should present some problem to assemble and get a proper gun. Kit includes the ammunition trailer, it’s possible to build everything on transport mode, then the crew is not usable, or deployed to fire. There are separate pioneers tools, except a cord moulded in the gun shield front side, which would have been better to keep as separated part.

The crew consists of 6 hard plastic multi-part figures, with the poses very well depicted in the box art. A small difference is that the officer is wearing a cap rather than a helmet as the box art. Figures could be better with nowadays technologies, but they stand up quite well even today.
