Armourfast – 99007 – WWII German Machine Gun Team

Armourfast created all their range of miniatures with wargames in mind and this set is not an exception. Inside the box you will find 4 equal sprue, each with 6 figures and option to build either a MG42 machine gun or a MG34 on a tripod. From the 6 figures, 4 are intended to serve this machine gun (officer, bringing munition, gunner and loader), while the other two, making a separate team, manages another MG34 or MG42 (hard to tell) but firing from a bipod and in prone position as seen many times in 1/72 scale figures. There is a small odd in the set, as any of the loaders as munition belt, the brand omitted to simplify molding but you will feel the need to provide some, with will not be so easy in 1/72 scale.

The box include also 4 loose StG 44 assault rifle, a nice addition, and all the soldiers wear smocks and ankle boots, appropriate for the late war.
