Description:

Unpainted plastic soldiers in 1/72 scale depicting Imperial Roman Standard Bearers, Officers and Musicians. In particular the box include one Signifer (Standard Bearer) pose, from Legio XXX during Trajanic Period, 2 Aquilifer (a soldier signifer bearing the eagle standard of a Roman legion) poses, from Legio IL (Flavian period) and Legio L (Trajanic Period), 2 Cornicen poses, junior officers playing the cornu, one imaginifer was one of the signiferi in a legion in the times of the Roman Empire, carrying the image of the emperor (Flavian Period) and some other poses as a Junior Tribune, a Legate, a Vexillarius and a Tubicen.

Continuation of set LINEAR-A – 061 – IMPERIAL ROMAN CENTURIONES COMMAND SET 1 produced in the same way by 3D printing.

Box include 40 figures in 10 different poses, each pose being repeated 4 times, which we don’t consider as the best proportion of poses/figures considering the possibilities of the 3D printing technology.

Obviously the 3D printing technology offers many possibilities and a detail and sculpture level hard to reproduce with traditional methods, and these figures enjoy of these capabilities to an outstanding level. But the 3D sculpture also hides its own nightmares, and some patterns are really hard to reproduce, which in this set clearly affects the fur coats several figures wear. The very visible fur areas in their back shows a pattern which is not exactly what you would expect of a fur coat.
