LINEAR-A – 089 – Roman Artillery Set 1 BALLISTA

Description:

Unassembled and unpainted plastic soldiers in 1/72 scale depicting a big siege BALLISTA war machine and two crew men in Roman Soldiers costume.

Box contains one enormous Ballista split in around 10 parts that need some work to fit properly. A Ballista is basically an enormous crossbow able to fire heavy projectiles or stones in large distance. The proportion between the two figures and the Ballista can be seen in the back box image below.

The two figures wear Imperial Roman costume, they fit well the task they are doing in the Ballista, but just two crew men for such a big weapon is just a small part of the crew it would require, though 2 is better than 0.

There are several reports of cast problems, probably caused by the big difference in the amount of plastic that some of the Ballista parts require in contrast with other parts or the figures themselves.
