Box contains 48 figures in 12 different poses, the classic four equals sprue format widely used by Orion and other brands. Figures depict Italian WWII tank crew men, in particular we find them more suitable for the early war, but not summer or African theater, either east front 1942, which with some exception in the figures, reduces the usability of the set.

Figures are excellent sculpted and mould/cast is good too, though some samples can contain some flash.

This box covers a topic that did not get too much attention till now in the 1/72 scale, so it’s a very nice addition for collectors or those interested in the Italian armor during the WWII, getting here some nice figures to complement the vehicles, in an assorted selection of different poses.

The only odd for these so specific sets that we have, is the maybe excessive repetition of poses because the four equal sprue format, making the set very appropriate also to share with friends. Even those building an Italian WWII army for gaming, will find the 48 tankers in 12 poses some excessive for the coverage. A deeper coverage, with 24 or 18 different poses and 36 total figures would have been more appropriate, but this complicates the production and increases the costs so we understand why brands choose this format.
