Airfix – A01033V – Hawker P.1127

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Hawker Siddeley P.1127, the experimental aircraft of the 60s that led to the development of the the Hawker Siddeley Harrier, the first vertical and/or short take-off and landing (V/STOL) jet fighter-bomber in the world.

Kit consists of just 37 parts and include one single marking in decal sheet belonging to  prototype P.1127 XP831, the one which performed all the early test flights and also happens to be the aircraft which crashed publicly at the Paris Airshow in June 1963. That same year, 1963, is when Airfix first released this very old kit now alive again as part of the Vintage Classics line.
