Airfix – A02106A – de Havilland Tiger Moth

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a British de Havilland DH.82 Tiger Moth basic trainer aircraft built for RAF and introduced in the early 30s. The design was a very successful design with over 8800 units produced from 1931 to 1944 and operated by many nations and not retired till late 50s, though many examples are still in airworthy conditions in civil use.

Update of 2018 kit Airfix – A02106 – De Havilland DH.82a Tiger Moth with a new decal sheet. Note that these two kits are based on the 2013 tool, and is not based in the really old 1957 initial Tiger Moth release from Airfix.

The new decal sheet include two markings, one for Royal Australian Navy (1950s) and one from the U.S. Army Air Force, dated 1943 (predecessor of the U.S. Air Force). Kit consists of just 42 parts.
