Supermarine Spitfire & F-35B Lightning II
“Then and Now”

Unassembled plastic model kits in 1/72 scale, contains two models, one of the Supermarine Spitfire WWII British Fighter, version MkIIa and one of the recent F-35B VSTOL stealth multi-role fighter.

Airfix reuses a concept already seen in 2008 when they issues an Eurofighter Typhoon and a Spitfire MkIIa (box code A50040), this time to join the newly tooled in 2023 Airfix – A55010 – Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II (Starter Set) together with a Spitfire Mk.Vc (Airfix – A55001 – Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vc (Small Starter Set)).

Both sets are easy to build, the Spitfire kit only consists of 26 parts and the F-35 just 42. Kit includes also 8 paints, 2 brushes and one glue. One marking is included for each plane as well as display stand.
