Unassembled plastic model kit in 1 /72 scale of an Ilyushin Il-76, a Soviet Strategic and Tactical airlifter, introduced in the 70s and updated during years remaining in service with several operators. Over 900 units were produced. Il-76MD variant is an improved militar transport variant developed during 90s and 2000s.

The Ukrainian brand updates their molds from an original kit released in 2006, updated several times with new releases over the years, last one in 2016 (Amodel – 72033 – Ilyushin Il-78). The kit is a beast in 1/72 scale with over 70cm wingspan, over 60cm length and more than 500 parts, making it highly recommended for experienced users.

This new release includes two new markings, one for Indian Air Force and one Ukrainian Air Force marking.

*Note that in the very Amodel way (or also Modelsvit) for the big aircrafts, and this is a big one, the main fuselage is a single part, usually not molded in styrene as rest of the kit rather than two valves as usually model kits does.
