Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. Curtiss Hawk Model 75 (Curtiss P-36 Hawk) fighter aircraft.

The Curtiss H-75, the export version of the P-36 Hawk, was a pre-World War II American fighter aircraft known for its maneuverability and rugged construction. Though quickly outclassed by newer designs, it saw combat in several air forces, including those of France, Finland, and China.

The H-75A-1 was the first production version delivered to France, featuring a Pratt & Whitney R-1830-SC-G engine with 900 hp and armed with four 7.5 mm MAC 1934 machine guns (two in the nose and two in the wings). The H-75A-2 was an improved version with a more powerful R-1830-SC3-G engine producing 1,050 hp and increased armament to six machine guns (two in the nose and four in the wings), enhancing its firepower. These aircraft performed well in the early stages of World War II, with French pilots scoring numerous victories against German aircraft before the fall of France in 1940.
