Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter aircraft, Emil series, E-3/7. Emils were produced from late 1938 till 1941 (only E-7), being the major variant in the first two years of the war till mid. 1941.

Kit includes decals with three unusual markings for a Messerschmitt Bf 109. One marking is for a Japanese aircraft, who purchased 5 E-7s in 1941. Hungary operated a well bunch of Messerschmitts during the war, specifically about Emil series, they operated 50 E-3/-4s. Most interesting even, is the Russian marking provided, by the dates and the pilot, it can only be an E-3 which did an emergency landing behind Republican lines during the Spanish Civil War. This aircraft was recovered and tested by Republican side, later by a French delegation, and some how ended up serving in Russia, in a special reconnaissance unit, till it was captured back by Germans.
