AZ Model – AZ7849 – Bf 109K-6 “Late”

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII fighter aircraft Messerschmitt Bf 109, K-6 variant.

K series was the last develop of the long Messerschmitt Bf 109 variants that saw service during the WWII.

The proposed K-6 variant would have featured two 13mm MG 131 machine guns positioned above the engine, alongside a 30mm MK 108 Motorkanone and an internally mounted MK 108 cannon in each wing, each loaded with 45 rounds per gun. Alternatively, the wing-mounted MK 108 cannons could be replaced with 20mm MG 151/20s, carrying 100 rounds per gun. Several K-6 prototypes were constructed and underwent testing at the Erprobungstelle Tarnewitz weapons-testing facility located on the Baltic coast.

Update with new decal sheet of the AZ Model Bf 109K series tooled around 2018. Includes three markings, fictional, dated 1945 after the end of the war.
