DreamModel – 720023 – Chinese J-20S “Mighty Dragon”

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Chinese Chengdu J-20 stealth & air-superiority fighter aircraft. Chengdu J-20 is a fifth generation fighter aircraft designed for air-superiority and precision strike role with stealth capabilities. It’s the third operational fifth generation fighter, together with the U.S. F-35 and the F-22, entered service in 2017 and has been produced in around 50 units (2019 data).

J-20S is designation for a two-seat variant first spotted in 2021. It’s not clear the role for this 2 seat version, but a second crew member potentially increases the roles and capabilities of the aircraft, as an electronic warfare aircraft,  battlespace surveillance or battle management.

Enhanced variant of kit DreamModel – 720010 – Chengdu J-20 “Mighty Dragon” including two 3D printed seats together with new parts to accommodate the two-seat variant.
