Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Czech Aero L-39 Albatros advanced trainer and light attack aircraft, introduced in the early 70s and still in service though production was halted in 1996 after around 2600 units produced and a large list of operators around the world.

L-39ZA variant is an upgraded L-39ZO for armed training and light attack, with increased payload capabilities, option to fit a twin-barreled cannon attached in a conformal pod under the pilots and outer pylons wired to carry K-13 (Vympel K-13, a sort of Soviet AIM-9B Sidewinder reverse engineered) or R-60 (Vympel R-60 short-range lightweight infrared) air-to-air missiles, as well as conventional bombs or Soviet rocket launchers up to a maximum 1,290kg external payload.

ProfiPACK edition of Eduard Aero L-39 Albatro kit tooled in 2002 and updated and reissued several times through the years. Kit include paint mask, PE (photo-etched) parts and decal sheet with 6 markings to chose from, including Czech, Czechoslovakian, Bulgarian, Romanian and one Thailandesse marking.
