Eduard – R0022 – Bf 109G-10 Royal Class Dual Combo

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII fighter aircraft Messerschmitt Bf 109, late G (Gustav) variants G-10 and G-14/AS.

The most distinguishable feature of the G-10 series, together with the engine upgrade intended for K series, DB 605 D-2, was the three-panel Erla-Haube clear-view canopy, which eliminated the older, rear fixed canopy section. G-14/AS was a high-altitude fighter fitted with DB 605ASM engine of the G-14 series, an attempt to standardize the many different G-6 production variants.

Update with new parts of Eduard Bf 109G kit tooled in 2023. The fit features an extensive clear parts frame with several options for the canopies, the set is aimed to depict Bf 109G-10 version produced in Erla facory in Leipzig, Bf 109G-10 from Wiener Neustädter Fabrik or Bf 109G-10 and Bf 109G-14/AS from Messerschmitt factory in Regensburg. 

Package include resin parts, wheels and exhausts, PE (photo-etched) detail parts and a decal sheet with 10 options to chose from including German, Croatian, Hungarian and Italian markings, as well as a post-war Czechoslovak marking. Box also include paint mask.

As “dual combo”, box include parts enough to build two full aircrafts of the desired variant.
