Description:

Fokker D.VII

This is not an original ESCI kit, as other WWI planes released by ESCI it has its origins in the Japanese Marusan brand in the 60s.

Though a correct kit, paired with the also old from the 60s Revell kit, this subject, the Fokker D.VII in 1/72 scale has been largely improved by the Roden and Eduard releases. The kit is still enjoyable but not for the finest modellers. The few parts could make it suitable for beginners but WWI planes usually have complicated paint schemes and/or decals not always easy to handle.

The kit was keep in the ESCI/ESCI-Ertl catalogue till the very end, with a last release in 1999. It always included the same single marking as the box art depicted.
